Waiting
Waiting is an improvisational electronic music piece. It was recorded live to tape in 1988. This piece employs a kind of home made electronic percussion instrument that I made from an old spring reverb. There's also a little bit of Minimoog and some highly signal processed piano. In addition, the piece makes use of a very rare Polyfusion modular synthesizer, which I had on loan for a period of time.
Please pardon the old grainy photographs. Above is the old Colwell Building studio, including the Polyfusion modular, Minimoog and CP80 - all of which were used on this piece.
To the right is the old Tapco spring reverb that I'd modified for use as a weird kind of percussion instrument.
